Ukrainian DXpeditioners Team (UDXT) is very glad to present our new project – PACIFIC ODYSSEY 2010.

UDXT members, namely: Sergey /UX0HX, Team Leader/, Oleg /RK3FA/, Alex /UT5UY/, Yuriy /UT1HF/, Oleg /US7UX/, Leo /UR3HR/ and Yuriy Grushevskiy /SWL/ will be active on all bands, all modes from:

5W, Samoa (CQ – 32; ITU – 62; IOTA OC – 097) May,18-19 2010
T31, Central Kiribati (CQ – 31; ITU – 62; IOTA OC – 043) May,22-June,1 2010
ZK3, Tokelau (CQ – 31; ITU – 62; IOTA OC – 048) June,2-6 2010

The main mission of this DXpedition is activating T31 Central Kiribati, Kanton Island, Phoenix Islands Group. This DXCC entity is ranked #7 in EU and #19 in Worlds Most Wanted List.
The next goal is activating ZK3 Tokelau Islands, which is ranked #29 in EU and #35 in Worlds Most Wanted List.

The HF/WHF contest was held in Poltava for the second time.
The best of Ukrainian contest man came to take part in this contest: UT2UB,
US1ITU, UY5OO, UT5UGR, UU0JM, UU2JQ, UX2HO, UR7HCX, UR3MP etc.
The main coach was UT5UGW.
This contest was in band Cw160m 80m, SSB/CW 2m, 70cm.
Many people came to this place: to see many friends, to speak after work in
hard contest.

I have news about our team plans - traveling to HAM RADIO Messe Friedrichshafen 2009, Germany.
This exhibition is to start on June 26-28, 2009.
It's our third time that we go to Germany with our group Sergey UX0HX, Max UZ1HZ, Leo UR3HR, Alex UT5UY and my father's driver Volodia Arsenenko, which
is the best driver.
Our team is grateful to my father UX0HX who gives us a possibility to have such an expensive traveling and to Alex UT5UY who assists us with the reservation of the hotel in Friedrichshafen.

We have news about memorial station EO300H.
This call special to 300 years battle of Poltava.
Licence working EO300H from June 20, 2009 to June 29, 2009.
We have two working place. Use transceivers Icom 735, Kenwood 480 SAT antennas 2el.Quad for 20m spider 20,15,10m, inV 80,40,160, Delta 80m.
In this memorial place working op. UX2HB Waddy, UR7HCX Ilio, UX2HX Ura, UX2HR Serhiy, UT5HCW Vitaliy, UZ1HZ Max, UX0HX Sergey, UR6HGP Vitaliy,Club Station UR4HWW.

We have a news from our club station UZ1H.
Our team worked in CQ WPX Contest in Single Operator High 40m.
We worked on the same place with YAESU FT-2000 and antenna RQ-84 40m - 4el
QUAD (full size).
This contest started on 30.05.2009 in 00.00 UTC and finished on 31.05.2009
at 24.00 UTC.
Such participants as UX2HO Paul, UR3HR Leo and help UZ1HZ Max and my father
UX0HX took part in the contest. There is a very good propogation between
other stations in world.
We had the barbeque grill meat.
Our claimed score was 825 QSO and 1169010 Points.

I have news from Formula 1 in Catalonia.
This good place Circuit de Catalonia is not far away from Barcelona.
Probably it is 38km. The competition took place for three days from 8-th to 10-th of May.
On the first day on Circuit de Catalonia everyone could buy the
promo-production of official sponsors of F1 like T-shirts, souvenirs and
other. Also you could watch at the training program of the cars like GP2,
Formula BMW, and Formula Porsche.
On the second day many people came to see qualification in all groups and
very popular F1 and you can find the qualification results in the
attachment.
On the third day there was held a big race in all groups. On the first lap a
crash with four cars occurred: one car from Toyota team, from Red Bull team,
from Torro Rossa and one car from Force India-Mercedes. Brawn-Mercedes
Jenson Button won the car race with time 1:37:19.202.
In attachment you can also see all results from the race.
All the race events I watched with my father UX0HX and our best friend from
Spain Tony (but he does not work in HAM RADIO). His photo you will see in photoalbum.
